Beyond Words
The 2024 autumn term at ThirdSpace has been focused on using other methods of communication, beyond dialogue and words. We have explored physical theatre and poetry, mask, ensemble work, the power of neutral, the strength in movement, symbolism, and a whole world of fun.
Every year, just before the winter break, our young actors pour onto the stage with ideas that they have formed and developed over the course of the term (and even before), bringing their inspirations and imaginations to life for all who come to watch.
This work is always devised by the brilliant young people, and honed by our talented drama tutors into cohesive pieces that reflect the importance of the inner lives of the performers.
We are delighted to be hosted by ACCA for the third time this year – and for many of the young actors, this will be their first time stepping out onto a proper professional stage!

Please note: As with all work devised by young people, parental guidance is recommended. The senior groups tend to focus on real issues that affect young people today, and as such there may be relatively mature themes and strong language.
