A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2025)

Set against a backdrop of strikes, protest, and horrendous standards in living, ThirdSpace Theatre bring the classic Shakespeare into a new era.

The infant and junior groups of ThirdSpace Theatre will come together for the first time since the winter show and present a strikingly poignant adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with each of the eight groups diving into a different part of the story and characters.

The Stage Combat group will be in full force as well, recalling the violence and civil unrest of the 1980s, brought about by the explosion of free-market capitalism, mass unemployment, and de-industrialisation, all of which echo today.
